My first bikepacking race also is cited as the the longest and hardest. I finished the 2,859 miles (4,600k) and 200,000 feet (60,960 metres) of climbing in 28.2 days, averaging 101 miles per day. I finished 64th of 144 starters, of which 55 scratched.
