Today 167k for 2,865k. On the Log Driver’s Waltz from Calabogie Ontario (Highlands Golf Resort) to Ladysmith Quebec (camping). Longer but much easier day. Had dinner and beer at the Ladysmith Hotel Pub. Then went to the Community Centre grounds to free camp. Turns out they’re having a huge Octoberfest weekend with the rock band Ambush. So I went and enjoyed the band and a local Campbell’s Bay beer. Laurel Schock gave me a beer ticket after asking and hearing about my ONXL bikepacking trip. Next day her niece Sheri Schock paid for my breakfast. Now I will try to sleep with the band still playing and hundreds of RVs’ generators around me. 😴. Here’s my Relive videos and with photos:
