Today 108k for 3,080k. On the Log Driver’s Waltz from Gracefield (Carpe Diem’s store floor) to Wakefield (Auberge de Mon Petit Chum B&B). Another relatively short enjoyable day. Still lots of hard climbs up to 18%. This is a ski and downhill biking area. The Log Driver’s Waltz route teases you with a little flat picturesque ride beside the Ottawa or Gatineau River before sending you away into more climbing…just for the fun of it. The B&B host said she felt like she needed to take care of me like my mother and so had two beer in my room’s fridge! Enjoying a great dinner and a great Boriele IPA beer at the fab Cafe Le Hibou.
